Paramount's Investment and Rental Property Insurance Package

Paramount understands the needs of property investors and has created a policy to meet your insurance requirements. Our package insures domestic dwellings for Landlords & Investors and provides the following benefits:

  • Full Accidental Loss or Damage policy with a Replacement Cover based on the declared size of the dwelling;
  • $20,000 Landlords, Contents, Fixtures & Fittings, curtains, blinds, drapes floor coverings etc. automatically covered and can be extended;
  • Legal Liability as a Landlord or Property Owner for damage to other peoples property is included;
  • Malicious Damage caused by any tenant occasioned by fire and explosion is automatically included (usually malicious damage caused by any tenant is excluded);
  • Extra Full Malicious Damage caused by a tenant can be added for an extra $ 60 plus GST per living unit;
  • Loss of Rents as a result of physical damage to the dwelling for a period of up to 26 weeks, with a maximum payout of $500 per week;
  • Loss of Rents as a Result of Absconsion or Eviction is available, an excess of $250 applies;
  • Gradual Damage as a result of leaking from any internal water system is covered up to $1,000 (gradual damage is often excluded in many policies);
  • There is No Requirement for tenants to have their own insurance;
  • The Standard Excess is only $200 and the Malicious Damage is $500. The excess on unoccupied dwellings is $1,000.
